That works beautifully on a couch. It works badly almost everywhere else.
It works badly at hour six of a shift, when the plug in your ear has become the thing you're most aware of. It works badly behind the wheel, where the one sound you actually need is the vehicle you can't hear coming. It works badly on a job site, in a warehouse, or anywhere someone might call your name.
What we make
Homyra builds open-ear audio — headphones that sit outside your ear instead of inside it. You hear your calls and your music. You also hear the road, the forklift, the dispatcher, your kid.
That's the whole thesis. We're not trying to make the best-sounding headphone in the world. We're making the one you can wear for eight hours without wanting to rip it out, and without going deaf to what's around you.
How we work
We tell you the real shipping time. Ours is 8 to 12 business days. We could write "fast shipping" and let you find out. We don't.
We don't publish specs we haven't verified. If you look at our product page and wonder why there's no battery number or waterproof rating, that's why. When we've confirmed them ourselves, they'll be there.
We tell you what our product isn't. Open-ear trades bass and isolation for awareness. If you want to block the world out, we'll tell you to buy something else. We'd rather lose the sale than eat the return.
Where we are
Homyra is a small operation. Orders ship from a fulfillment center in the United States. Every email you send gets answered by a person, usually within two business days.
